Website Hosting:

If you decide to have SyattWebDesign create a website or landing page for you, the first 3 months of Hosting will be FREE *.  If you would like to continue Hosting with us, you will be billed a low fee of $42.00 ($3.50 month) which will cover the following 12 months. We have partnered with GoDaddy to host all of our websites. GoDaddy is one of the largest and strongest providers of website hosting... we have been extremely pleased with them.

* Should you require an SSL (secure socket layer) for secure transactions, a seperate IP address will be required meaning SyattWebDesign will not be able to host your website... you will need to purchase a seperate Hosting Plan.

Should you decide to go another direction, there are many hosting services throughout the country. If you do not already have one in mind, you can click on the following link for GoDaddy Hosting Plans and see what they have to offer. This link will take you directly to the location where you can purchase both your Domain Name and Hosting Plan. Depending on the size of your site, you may wish to consider the Economy Package to start. Should you decide to go with their program and have made your purchase, you will need to have GoDaddy install your Domain Name on to the server. Once that is done, we will need your FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Login to be able to access your hosting account in order to upload your completed website onto the server.

If you already have your own hosting lined up that is fine too, we will need FTP login to your hosting account to be able to access your website files.

The SSL (secure socket layer) protocol is the web standard for encrypting communications between users and web sites. Data sent via an SSL connection is protected by encryption, a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering with any transmitted data. SSL provides businesses and consumers with the confidence that private data sent to a web site, such as credit card numbers, are kept confidential. Web server certificates are required to initialize an SSL session.
